A look back at 15 years of M Leuven
Since its establishment in 2009, M Leuven has developed into a dynamic museum that bridges the past and the future. With its mix of old masters and contemporary artworks, the museum has acquired a unique position in the cultural landscape. During these 15 years, M Leuven has managed not only to build a rich collection, but it has also created a platform for innovative exhibitions, groundbreaking art projects and in-depth scientific research. In its 15-year history, the museum has already welcomed some 3 million visitors.
A new collection presentation
In June this year, M Leuven opened a brand new collection presentation. The ‘Collection of M’ shows a selection of the most remarkable works from the museum's collection. The presentation has been carefully curated and offers a fresh look at both old and contemporary artworks. Visitors can enjoy a unique combination of masterpieces from the 15th and 16th centuries and pioneering works by contemporary artists. This new display reflects M Leuven's core mission: to bridge past and present and create a dialogue between different art forms and time periods.
